It is pretty obvious at this point that I have not gone forward with the current version of this contest. This has been a result of many reasons, one of which being a primary factor involving my life in general. I am currently dealing with a very trialing situation, with added stress including a bit of a family crisis in addition to the holidays. I am not sure how long the former is going to last.

To the two of you who nominated icons a few months ago: Thank you. I was excited to see how this idea would play out, but even after extensions it seemed it wasn't meant to be.

kh_iconawards was awesome fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the years I hosted it. I have gotten dozens of messages over the years from members telling me how much they enjoyed the contest and honored the virtues of the specific rules.

As I get time, I will be opening up the community for the Hall of Fame winners to post their KH icons, so the community will continue to be a great place to see awesome graphic work. I'll let you guys know when that happens.
